Jan Nepomucen Bobrowicz (born. 1805) is a remarkable polish virtuoso and composer od Romanticism. He has written ca 70 compositions in total, including solo guitar pieces and opera arias for voice and guitar. Jest to jeden z pierwszych utworów Marka Pasiecznego, w którym nie pojawiają się, wszechobecne dotychczas w jego twórczości, inspiracje jazzem i muzyką filmową. Tytuł kompozycji zdradza nowe fascynacje kompozytora - tym razem jest to muzyka polska i spuścizna jednego z najsłynniejszych kompozytorów polskich XX wieku - Aleksandra Tansmana. Mimo, że w utworze odnaleźć można echa stylu twórcy Cavatiny oraz liczne nawiązania do polskiej muzyki ludowej (stylizacje polskich tańców ludowych w drugiej i trzeciej części suity, a także wykorzystanie motywów tradycyjnej piosenki "Cichy zapada zmrok" w części czwartej), to motywy te wykorzystane zostały z charakterystycznym dla Pasiecznego polotem i swobodą wnosząc nową jakość do współczesnego repertuaru gitarowego.
