Each performer should choose his own order in which to play the miniatures withoult prior consultation with others. By naturally responding to given musical situations, their mutual musicmaking on the stage should bring forth accidental, always new results. When performed as a chamber music version, it is desirable-given the proper acoustic conditions- for some performers to be spatially located away from the stage.

Operę Jussepe Verdi skomponował do słów dramatu Williama Szekspira pt.: ,,Otello" (1604). Dramat Williama Szekspira ukazuje jednostkę dręczoną chorobliwą zazdrością. Głównym bohaterem dramatu Szekspira, jest dowódcą weneckiej armii Maur Otello, który poślubia Desdemonę. Demoniczny Jago, rozczarowany swymi niespełnionymi nadziejami, zaczyna podsuwać Otellowi myśl o zdradach Desdemony. Zarzuty są bezpodstawne, ale Jago umiejętnie roznieca zazdrość Otella. Na konsekwencje nie trzeba długo czekać. Szczery i bezpośredni Otello, dręczony nieustannymi podejrzeniami, nie wierzy w wierność Desdemony. Dusi żonę, po czym popełnia samobójstwo. Jago, którego wina wychodzi na jaw, zostaje ukarany. Opera ,,Otello", stanowi znakomite studium dramatycznych, wielkich uczuć-niepohamowanej zazdrości (Otello) i paranoicznej żądzy zemsty (Jago).

Był bebopowym trębaczem, jednym z twórców cool jazzu, prekursorem jazz rocka. Powszechnie uważany za geniusza, który kilkakrotnie zmieniał kierunek rozwoju muzyki jazzowej.
