Eartraining is a vital (and sometimes neglected) skill that enables musicians to 'hear ahead' in their playing and writing. These unique, modern courses have been used by hundreds of students (from beginners to working pros) at the acclaimed Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. These methods use SOLFEG (the syllables Do, Re, Mi, etc.) to apply the techniques within a key-center based 'relative pitch' framework. Level One works on hearing and transcribing melodies, rhythms, intervals and bass lines and moves on to identify triads and simple progressions. Level Two covers hearing and transcribing triad and four-part chord progressions, key changes, chromatic tones, modal scales, and combining melodic and harmonic dictation.

Ossolińskich we Wrocławiu, sygn. XVI Qu 1886.
Książka zawiera posłowie w języku polskim i angielskim.

The "Modus regulariter accentuandi" is one of the more popular musical treatises ascribed to Sebastian of Felsztyn. A few reeditions dating from the first half of the sixteenth century containing only insignificant changes have come down to us. It was first published by jan Haller in 1518 in Cracow. The second edition also appeared in Cracow, issued in 1525 by the printing house of Hieronim Wietor. Several copies of this publication are preserved in polish libraries at the present time. The copy used as the basis for the present reproduction is kept in the Library of the Ossoliński National Institute at Wrocław (XVI Qu 1886). The reproduction is designed to show the source, as far as possible, in its original form, with all its characteristic technical typographic features. For this reason later accretions, additions and contaminations have been removed in the course of preparation.

George Michael is an enigma. While he is one of the most open and vocal pop superstars on the planet, he also fiercely protective of his privacy. From the formation of Wham! In 1981 he immediately found fame and fortune beyond his wildest dreams. His music formed the soundtrack to the 1980s and he achieved all of this despite growing up in a dysfunctional family where his father openly proclaimed that George had no talent. Wham! Split in 1986 but Michael went on to greater things as a solo artist. Along the way he has been embroiled in several controversies, but in a refreshing change to other superstars, he has been happy to address his issues head-on in the media. A court case with Sony; an arrest in a Los Angeles public toilet; minor run-ins over class-C drugs; and traffic offences in London. Rob Jovanovic's new biography of George Michael tackles the issues that formed the superstar today and his place as a cultural icon. It also for the first time analyses Michael's musical output and groundbreaking videos, right up to his triumphant 2006 tour, the first in 15 years as Michael returned from the music wilderness.

Publikacja jest trzecią częścią cyklu książek dotyczących nauki tworzenia własnego studia muzycznego. Niniejsza część obejmuje tematy dotyczące odpowiedniego oprogramowania, konfiguracji systemu, nagrań cyfrowych i różnic pomiędzy nagraniami analogowymi a cyfrowymi, przechowywania i kopiowania plików i wiele innych.

The AudioPro Home Recording Course was created to familiarise musicians with the fundamentals of studio recording using explanations and examples that are easy to understand.
The text is complemented by hundreds of illustrations and two CDs containing information and audio examples.
Volume three covers: MIDI (basic training, quantising, mixing with MIDI, notation software, controllers, setting up your system); MIDI sequencing (constructing MIDI drum parts, creating bass, guitar and keyboard parts, combining MIDI and live recording); digital effects (hardware vs. software plugins, details of using each type of effect); digital recording (analogue vs. digital, recording and playback formats, digital audio file formats, storage and backup, MDMs and computer-based hard disk systems, choosing the right software, common terms demystified, random access editing); synchronising (MIDI to audio sync, MIDI to MIDI sync, analogue to analogue sync).
