Enya, a właściwie Eithne Ni Bhráonain to irlandzka piosenkarka urodzona w roku 1961. W skład grupy muzycznej wchodzą trzy osoby: Eithne Ni Bhráonain, producent muzyczny Nicky Ryan i autorka tekstów Roma Ryan. Utwory zawarte w prezentowanej publikacji pochodzą z krążka zatytułowanego: "Shepheard Moons" i wydanego w roku 1991. Wśród tytułów znajdziesz m. in.: "Carribean Blue", "How Can I Keep from Singing?", "Book of Days", "Marble Halls", "Ebudae" i inne. "After Watermark was released - I was inundated with request to talk about the lyrics. One part of me felt that the lyrics should speak for themselves and that to 'explain' them would be like naming the colours of a painting while forgetting to look at the picture. Another part of me wanted to acknowledge the genuine interest people were showing and so I replied, haphazardly it seemed, to those who would have asked. Here, with Shephered Moons, I have, in response, provided some background to the songs in the hope that the understanding of the songs may have some uniformity. This, of course, will go part of the way to explain them, for it is also my hope that everyone who listens to them may hold their own interpretation. I have written about them by searching for the genesis of the songs in diaries and notebooks I have kept and so the background has, as a result, the flavour of a personal journal. Podstawą działalności kompozytorskiej Schumanna od początku był fortepian - aż do opusu dwudziestego trzeciego pisał on wyłącznie utwory na ten instrument. Intermezza Schumanna zawierają już elementy nowatorskiej wówczas techniki pianistycznej. Charakterystyczną cechą tych kompozycji - podobnie jak wielu innych dzieł romantyzmu - jest głęboki wyraz uczuciowy. The Deutsche Staatsbibliothek Berlin owns the complete autograph of the work in the youthful writing of Schumann, reflecting the endeavour for clarity and beauty. The alternation of the originally intended dedication to Clara Wieck, at that time still in her childhood, reveals that the work had been born in the turbulent process of development oh Schumann's youthful artistic personality, in a feeling of creative happiness and the the same time in the torments of the self-imposed constraint of self-discipline.The calligraphic tittle and tempo marks are conscicuous. "Poeme languide" z op. 52, czy "Poeme-Nocturne" z op. 61. Ukazują one w pełni nowatorstwo warsztatu kompozytorskiego artysty (oryginalna nowoczesna harmonia, ciekawa faktura, efekty polirytmiczne). Alexander Nicholaievich Scriabin, the son of diplomatist and lady pianist, was born on the 6th of January 1872 in Moscow. Scriabin belongs doubtlessy to the most ingenious and fascinating phenomena in music at the beginning of our century. His works for the piano require from player the highest degree of sensibility, as well as unusual technical and musical virtues. Above all, he has to be in situation to come up to the mark of the rhytmic, soun-sensititve and pedal artistic requierements. Scriabin's pieces for piano contained in the present 3rd volume give a good isight into the development of his style. They begin with Preludes Op. 13 and 16, which show Chopin's influence at the same time as his own personal imprint, continue with the magnificently virtuose Waltz Op. 38, and conclude with the later Preludes and Poems Op. 59, 61, 63, 67, 69 and 71. Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562 - 1621) był holenderskim kompozytorem, organistą i pedagogiem tworzącym na przełomie dwóch epok: renesansu i baroku. Prezentowana publikacja - "Wybrane dzieła na organy, fortepian lub klawesyn" zawiera trzynaście kompozycji Sweelincka: sześć fantazji, dwie toccaty oraz "Świeckie pieśni i wariacje taneczne". Pośród fantazji odnaleźć można m. in. "Fantasia b-a-c-h in d". Skomponowana ona została na temat motywu B-A-C-H, który jest złożony z dźwięków pochodzących od nazwiska słynnej rodziny kompozytorów i muzyków niemieckich. Temat ten był wielokrotnie podejmowany przez artystów różnych epok. Słynna jest m. in. "Fantazja i fuga na temat B-A-C-H" Maxa Regera. In view of the fact that it is universally known that Jan Pieterszon Sweelinck (1562 - 1621) is one of the foremost personalities of music history, it is hardly necessary to set forth the reason at the present time. Sweelinck is commonly regarded as the last of the greater Netherland composers of the Renaissance era and his music testifies not only to his own gratness but also to that of the entire era which he brought to its mighty climatic close. However, Sweelinck's influence outlasted the era i ehich his genius created his masterworks of musical art; in more ways than one he is the father not only of the North German school of organists but also of much 20th-century organ composition.
