Koncert fortepianowy c-moll (KV 491) Mozart skomponował w 1786 roku. Jest to utwór o typowej, klasycznej budowie: cz. I - Allegro, cz. II -Larghetto, cz. III - Allegretto. Niniejsze wydanie kompozycji w opracowaniu na dwa fortepiany zostało oparte wyłącznie o materiały źródłowe znajdujące się w British Library w Londynie. Partia solisty (Fortepian I) została wydana w możliwie najbliższym oryginałowi zapisie nutowym, z kolei w partii orkiestry zaaranżowanej na fortepian (Fortepian II) zachowano wszelkie źródłowe oznaczenia dynamiczne i artykulacyjne. Mozart's Piano Concerto in C minor (K 491), dated 24 March 1786 in his autograph catalogue of works, ends the series of subscription concerts for the Lenten season of 1785-6. Mozart played the piece twice in short succession: first on 3 April 1786, and again at his academy of 9 April i the Burg Theatre. K 491 combines the timbral features of its two predecessors K 482 and 488 by emphasizing minor keys in its opening and closing movements and by expanding the wind band. The present edition has been revised on the basis of the autograph score located in the British Library in London and published i facsimile. Lista utworów: |

"Wolny strzelec" ("Der Freischütz") to opera w trzech aktach skomponowana przez Carla von Webera do libretta Friedricha Kinda. Prapremiera dzieła odbyła się 18 czerwca 1821 w Berlinie. Opera odniosła ogromny sukces - niemiecka publiczność burzliwie oklaskiwała dzieło i śpiewała razem z wykonawcami (i to mimo faktu, iż na pruskim dworze popierano wówczas wyłącznie operę włoską). Datę premiery opery "Wolny strzelec" uważa się często za początek niemieckiego romantyzmu w muzyce. Niejednokrotnie określa się też to dzieło jako pierwszą romantyczną operę. Niniejsza publikacja zawiera operę "Wolny strzelec" w opracowaniu na głosy wokalne, chór i fortepian, wydaną w oparciu o oryginalne materiały źródłowe (urtext). Not quite one month after the opening of the Berlin Playhouse at the Gendarmenmarkt, rebuilt by Friedrich Schinkel - on May 26th, 1821, with Goethe's "Iphigenia" - Weber's "Freischütz" had a first performance received with enthusiasm. Weber noted in his diary: "In the evening Der Freischütz as the first opera at the new Playhouse. Received with incredible enthusiasm. Encores requested for ouverture and folksong; out of 17 pieces 14 loudly apllauded. Everything went off exellently and everyone sang with devotion; I was called out and took Mad. Seidler and Mlle. Eunicke with me to the stage, since I could not get hold of the others. Poems and wreaths flew around us. Soli deo gloria". Lista utworów: |

Kolekcja utworów z albumu "Fresh Aire III" amerykańskiej grupy Mannheim Steamroller w opracowaniu na dwa fortepiany. Kompozytorem muzyki, jak i założycielem zespołu jest Chip Davis. Wśród tytułów znaleźć można między innymi: "Small Wooden Bach'ses", "Amber" czy "The Woods is Alive". Na początku publikacji zamieszczono uwagi i komentarze do zamieszczonych utworów. Toccata primarily means a touch piece, usually associated with rapid touch of the keys. The framework of this toccata is from the 16th century, and is in the standard 5-part form, but slightly modified. The opening is the Toccata up to the Melodic part (harpsichord and recorder), followed by an Episode of quickly changing scenes, then back to the Melodic section, and ending with the Toccata. Hence, the 5-part form: TMEMT. The toccata form was used many times as a fanfare, as it is here for FRESH AIRE III. Lista utworów: |
