At last the young pianist can play a concerto by a great composer. Heretofore, the masterworks in this form were too difficult for all but the most exceptional students. The charming Concetino, written by Haydn around 1765, was published for the first time in Edition Peters (No. 4611) with solo and original string parts for two violins and bass. In this Student Edition the editor has arranged the original accompaying parts for a second piano so that the teacher or another student may be the "orchestra". Lista utworów: |

"Koncert fortepianowy D-dur" KV 175 Mozart skomponował w Salzburgu, w grudniu 1773 roku. Partia solisty (Fortepian I) posiada możliwie najbliższy oryginałowi zapis nutowy, z kolei w partii orkiestry zaaranżowanej na fortepian (Fortepian II) zachowano wszelkie źródłowe oznaczenia dynamiczne i artykulacyjne. The D-major Piano Concerto, K. 175, was written in Salzburg in Decemcer 1773. It is thus Mozart's very first instrumental concerto, whether for piano or any other instrument (his first violin concerto, K. 207, was not composed until 1775). Up to that time Mozart, then not yet eighteen years of age, had only made concerto arrangements of works by other composers, including three concertos based on sonatas by Johann Christian Bach. In many respects K. 175 reveals the composer's valuating ambitions, particulary in the virtuoso writing for the piano, its large-scale design, and the splendid colours obtained by adding horns and trumpets. The autograph score of K. 175, extant as late as 1860, has long been lost. For this edition a reliable substitute source has been consulted. Lista utworów: |

"Koncert Es-dur" na fortepian i orkiestrę Mozart skomponował w 1777 roku. Jest to ostatnie i najbardziej dojrzałe dzieło, jakie skomponował on podczas swojego pobytu w Salzburgu. Partia solisty (Fortepian I) została wydana w możliwie najbliższym oryginałowi zapisie nutowym, z kolei w partii orkiestry zaaranżowanej na fortepian (Fortepian II) zachowano wszelkie źródłowe oznaczenia dynamiczne i artykulacyjne. Mozart's Piano Concerto in E-flat major (K 271), dated January 1777, is his last and most mature work in this genre written during his years in Salzburg. Composed considerably later than its three precessors K 175, 238 and 246, it forms a pinnacle in the output of the twenty-one-year-old composer. With this work Mozart attained an individual style of writing which had repercussions on his instrumental music as a whole. Its unusual formal design is no less extraordinary than the demands it places on the soloist. The present edition has been revised on the basis of the autograph score formely located in the holdings of the Prussian State Library in Berlin but now in Bilioteka Jagiellońska in Crocow. Publikacja zawiera dwie kompozycje z różnych okresów twórczości Dymitra Szostakowicza na dwa fortepiany. Suita fis-moll op. 6 została napisana w marcu 1922 roku, kiedy Szostakowicz studiował w Konserwatorium w Petersburgu. Nieco później kompozytor postanowił zmienić numerację i dzieło pozostawił bez opusu, a pod op. 81 przyporządkował oratorium "The Song of the Forests" skomponowane w tym samym roku co Marsz. This volume present two compositions by Dmitri Shostakovich taken from quite different creative periods. Lista utworów: |
