The autograph manuscript of Mozart's Larghetto and Allegro in E-flat major for two pianos (K6 deest) was discovered by Gerhard Croll in 1964, in Kromeří Castle, Moravia (Czechoslovakia). because of its recent discovery, the work does not appear in any edition of the Köchel catalogue). Kromeří, then known as Kremsier, was the seat of Archduke Rudolf of Austria, the dedicatee of several major works by Beethoven including Opp. 58, 81a, 97, 106, 111 and 123. Mozart's manusript was discovered in Rudolf's archive, where Rudolf himself had falsely attributed it to Gluck. "Koncert Es-dur" na fortepian i orkiestrę Mozart skomponował w 1777 roku. Jest to ostatnie i najbardziej dojrzałe dzieło, jakie skomponował on podczas swojego pobytu w Salzburgu. Partia solisty (Fortepian I) została wydana w możliwie najbliższym oryginałowi zapisie nutowym, z kolei w partii orkiestry zaaranżowanej na fortepian (Fortepian II) zachowano wszelkie źródłowe oznaczenia dynamiczne i artykulacyjne. Mozart's Piano Concerto in E-flat major (K 271), dated January 1777, is his last and most mature work in this genre written during his years in Salzburg. Composed considerably later than its three precessors K 175, 238 and 246, it forms a pinnacle in the output of the twenty-one-year-old composer. With this work Mozart attained an individual style of writing which had repercussions on his instrumental music as a whole. Its unusual formal design is no less extraordinary than the demands it places on the soloist. The present edition has been revised on the basis of the autograph score formely located in the holdings of the Prussian State Library in Berlin but now in Bilioteka Jagiellońska in Crocow. Koncert posiada klasyczną budowę trzyczęściową: I - Allegro, II - Andante, III - Rondo z tanecznym tematem. The solo piano part is identical in every respect with the text given in the sources. Koncert fortepianowy B-dur KV 456 Mozart skomponował w 1784 roku. The Piano Concerto in Bb major (KV 456) was composed in 1784 and was entered into Mozart's personal catalog of works on September 30th. Although there is no concrete proof, it appears that Mozart wrote the concerto on commission from the blind pianist Marie Theresia of Paradise. The present edition was edited in accordance with the autogrph score in State Library of the Prussian Cultural Estate, Berlin, and in comparison with a copy made in Mozart's intermediate circle as well as with the first printing. The solo piano part corresponds in every detail to the text in the original sources. The piano reduction of the orchestral accompaniament (Piano II) was adopted to the dynamics and articulation of the original score as far as possible. Lista utworów: |
