Burge David Liana's Song, Ballet in 6 Parts for Piano 4 Hands Pieśń Liany, Balet w 6 częściach na fortepian - 4 ręce Liana's Song, Ballet in 6 Parts for Piano 4 Hands Liana Lieder, Ballett in 6 Teilen für Klavier zu 4 Händen
David Burge (ur. 1930) to współczesny amerykański kompozytor, pianista i dyrygent. Czas trwania utworu: ok. 20'. David Burge - "Liana's Song" was composed in 1995 with the dual purpose of providing my wife, Liliane Choney, and myself with a work for piano, four-hands, and to create a varied set of dances for the San Diego Ballet. The SDB premiered the work with a series of performances in March 1996, and again included it in their repertoire during the following season. In all these performances the piano was located upstage center and dancers flowed around in front of us as we played. "Liana's Song" may, of course, be programmed as a set of concert pieces without dancers, in which case the pianists may wish to omit all or some of the optional "Intermede" connections.
