Wtedy to kompozytor w liście do przyjaciela pisał o rozpoczęciu pracy nad cyklem. Three Preludes - a series of miniatures for flute and soprano without text - was completed by Michał Spisak in February of 1953. Although the composition lasts only four and half minutes, its history dated back in 1950. The composer then wrote in a letter to a friend about the start of the series. The first prelude, which took two times longer than the other two is more diversified and resembles Spisak's Duetto Concertante for bassoon and viola. The two remaining preludes are very short, technically simple miniatures, clarly linked to the works of baroque composers. Despite of these differences, the preludes are linked by secific use of the soprano. It is deliberately noted in the score below the flute and the composer most often only uses a low and medium register of this voice. Lista utworów: |
