Louis Spohr (1784 - 1859) to niemiecki skrzypek, kompozytor i dyrygent. Z jego dwunastu koncertów skrzypcowych w dzisiejszym repertuarze utrzymuje się VIII Koncert skrzypcowy a-moll op. 47 skomponowany w 1816 roku. Spohr nazwał go "Koncertem w formie sceny wokalnej". Koncert składa się z następujących części: Spohr's "Gesangscene" is one of those great Master compositions for the violin, which have to this day preserved their freshness for all those who, on their part, have preserved a love for the true spirit of the violin. The unique position which this work occupies in violin literature is due to Spohr's ingenious idea, on the occasion of his first public appearance in Italy; of meeting the 'gusto italiano' half way by playing a violin - piece in the "Form of a vocal scene", consisting of: 'Recitativo, aria e stretta'. This may account for the witty reverence to Rossini, in the delightful Eb passage in the last movement. Lista utworów: |

Edward Elgar (1857 - 1934) to kompozytor brytyjski. Pozostawił po sobie m. in. dwie symfonie, oratorium "The dream of Gerontius", oraz wariacje na temat własny pt. "Enigma". Utwór "Salut d'amour" op. 12 Elgar skomponował w 1886 roku. Artysta przeznaczył tę kompozycję na skrzypce i fortepian. Partię fortepianu pisał z myślą o swojej uczennicy z klasy akompaniamentu fortepianowego - Caroline Alice Roberts. We wrześniu 1888 roku Roberts została żoną kompozytora. "Salute d'amour" istnieje w bardzo wielu wersjach na przeróżne obsady (opracowania m. in. na fortepian solo, na głos wokalny, czy małą orkiestrę). Prezentowane wydanie "Salute d'amour" zawiera aranżację na fortepian solo. In July 1888 Edward Elgar added the date to a piece for violin and piano that he had entitled "Luebesgrüss". Since October 1886 Elgar had received Caroline Alice Roberts as a pupil in the art of piano accompaniment, and the violin piece almost certainly originated in the course of their growing relationship. Master and pupil become engaged in September 1888. One other rather subtle change was also implied by the cover of Schott's printed edtition. The piece appeard in several versions. First in the autumn of 1889, it was released simultaneously in versions for violin and piano, piano solo and small orchestra, then other arrangements followed: by 1899 the cover title to the music boasted no less than 20 instrumental versions and vocal versions in various keys, to two texts in English and one in French. As a piano solo, "Salut d'amour" has sufficient technical challenges and musical substance to remain a rewarding experience for the player. Lista utworów: |

Burleska na skrzypce i fortepian została skomponowana w 1990 roku. Ta czterominutowa miniatura, o lekkim i pogodnym charakterze, zawiera elementy przywodzące na myśl wcześniejszą kompozycję Romualda Twardowskiego - Capriccio in Blue z 1979 roku. Burlesque for violin and piano was composed in 1990. cena 29,95 zł. nuty.pl | Twardowski Romuald Capriccio na skrzypce i fortepian Capriccio na skrzypce i fortepian Capriccio for Violin and Piano Capriccio für Violine und Klavier Capriccio pour violon et piano
Capriccio zostało skomponowane w 2002 roku dla uczczenia trzydziestolecia pracy artystycznej prof. Mirosława Ławrynowicza i jemu dedykowane. Capriccio was composed in 2002 to honour the thirtieth anniversary of Prof. Mirosław Ławrynowicz's artistic work and it was dedicated to him. The first performance took place on 20th February 2002 at the Academy of Music in Warsaw during a concert celebrating this anniversary. Capriccio is considered to be one of the best violin pieces composed by Romuald Twardowski, and for the composer himself it constituted an attempt to sum up the creative output of his wotks for violin and piano. Thus in Capriccio the atonal melodic style of Espressioni as well as a cheerful mood evocative of Pastorale e danza can be found. All this, in the form of a miniature lasting for over four minutes, allows the audience to unmistakably distinguish all the features of Romuald Twardowski's composing style in Capriccio.
