Obecnie od muzyka solisty w konserwatoriach i orkiestrach wymagana jest wszechstronna znajomość literatury orkiestrowej i operowej. Niniejsza publikacja gromadzi w sobie partie puzonu tenorowego i puzonu basowego pochodzące z popularnych dzieł kompozytorów różnych okresów. Podzielona jest ona na dwie części - pierwsza część zawiera wyłącznie utwory na puzon tenorowy, druga natomiast na puzon basowy. W zbiorze odnaleźć można m. in. wiele fragmentów utworów Ryszarda Wagnera - sceny z jego dramatów muzycznych "Zygfryd" oraz "Walkiria", "Glorię" Beethovena z jego "Missa solemnis", partię puzonu ze słynnego "Bolera" Ravela oraz fragmenty z oper Verdiego, Rossiniego i Berga. Wyboru utworów dokonano we współpracy z Deutsche Orchestervereinigung e. V. (DOV). For many years orchestras and conservatoris have wanted a practical and easily accessible edition of the orchestral passages required at auditions. An orchestral musician is expected to know and to have mastered not only the solo literature of his instrument but especially the opera and concert repertoire as well. The present edition contains those passages which a musician is expected to have at his or her command before being accepted into an orchestra. Unlike the many existing "orchestral studies", this colletion focuses on the material commonly used in auditions. Publikacja zawiera dwa utwory na puzon: Łukasza Godyli i Jakuba Polaczyka, skomponowane na V Konkurs Kompozytorski im. Tadeusza Ochlewskiego w 2007 roku. "Circulations for solo trombone" is built from seven segments based on intervallic structures ranging from the smallest to the largest intervals. The introduction and the ending are based on a fragment of a series of harmonics: the work starts with the note F, proceeds to the highest possible note and then returns to the note F in the final segment. The form involving the passing through the particular intervals in the segments as well as the introduction and its mirror reflection in the ending gives the work a circular scheme, hence the title of the work.
