Jean Deatwyler (1907 - 1994) to kompozytor pochodzący z Bazylei. Studia muzyczne odbył W Paryżu na wydziałach: kompozycji, harmonii, kontrapunktu, śpiewu gregoriańskiego i dyrygentury. W 1938 roku na stałe osiadł z rodziną w Sierre (Szkocja). Jego działalność kompozytorska miała głęboki wpływ na życie muzyczne w tamtejszym regionie. Ponadto uczył kontrapunktu i dyrygentury w Konserwatorium w Sierre. Niniejsza publikacja zawiera utwór "Evening Reverie" w opracowaniu na harfę, puzon (altowy lub tenorowy suwakowy) i orkiestrę smyczkową. Tempo utworu: Lento, con intimo sentimento (ćwierćnuta = ok. 48). Jean Deatwyler, born in Basle, completed his higher musical studies (composition, harmony, counterpoint, Gregorian chant and conducting) in Paris, at the Conservatoire, the Schola Cantorum and the Ecole César Franck. His professor included Voncent d'Indy, Guy de Lioncourt, A. Bertelin, Jean de Valois, Amédée Gastoué, Charles Koechlin and Paul Le Flem. Married and father of three children, he settled in 1938 in Sierre (Valais). For more than 40 years he profoundly influenced the musical life - instrumental and vocal, sacred and profane - of this town and its region: as conductor of the Géand of the Ste-Cécile, founder and conductor of the Chanson du Rhône. Besides his activities as composer and director, Jean Daetwyler taught harmony and counterpoint at the Conservatory in Sion. Lista utworów: |
