Agata Zubel urodziła się w 1978 r. we Wrocławiu. Po ukończeniu nauki w Państwowym Liceum Muzycznym, podjęła studia kompozytorskie na Akademii Muzycznej we Wrocławiu. Od 1999 r. Jest członkiem Koła Młodych przy Związku Kompozytorów Polskich. Utwory Agaty Zubel wykonywane były podczas Koncertów Kompozytorskich w Liceum Muzycznym i w Akademii Muzycznej we Wrocławiu, w Filharmonii Wrocławskiej, oraz na Ogólnopolskich Przesłuchaniach Kameralnych Zespołów Perkusyjnych Szkół Muzycznych II stopnia w 1998 r. Lumiere pour percussion zdobył I nagrodę w Konkursie Młodych Kompozytorów im. Andrzeja Panufnika w Krakowie w 1999 r. Agata Zubel was born in Wrocław in 1978. Having graduated from the Karol Szymanowski State Music Lyceum in Wrocław where she had pursued her musical education at two faculties: instrumental and pedagogical-theoretical, in 1997 she took up copositional studies in the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the class of Jan Wichrowski. Jean Deatwyler (1907 - 1994) to kompozytor pochodzący z Bazylei. Studia muzyczne odbył W Paryżu na wydziałach: kompozycji, harmonii, kontrapunktu, śpiewu gregoriańskiego i dyrygentury. W 1938 roku na stałe osiadł z rodziną w Sierre (Szkocja). Jego działalność kompozytorska miała głęboki wpływ na życie muzyczne w tamtejszym regionie. Ponadto uczył kontrapunktu i dyrygentury w Konserwatorium w Sierre. Niniejsza publikacja zawiera Koncert na puzon, orkiestrę smyczkową i perkusję (ad libitum). Utwór posiada budowę trzyczęściową: I - Allegro (ćwierćnuta z kropką = ok. 126 - 132), II - Lento e con intimo sentimento (ćwierćnuta = ok. 60), III - Allegro (ćwierćnuta = 120 - 124). Completed his higher musical studies (composition, harmony, counterpoint, Gregorian chant and conducting) in Paris, at the Conservatoire, the Schola Cantorum and the Ecole César Franck. His professors included Vincent d'Indy, Guy de Lioncourt, A. BBertelin, Jean de Valois, Amédée Gastoué, Charles Koechlin and Paul Le Flem. Married and father of three children, he settled in 1938 in SIerre (Valais). For more than 40 years he profoundly influenced the musical life - instrumental and vocal, sacred and profane - of his town and its region: as conductor of the Gérondine and of the Chanson du Rhône.
