Publikacja jest drugą częścią zbioru etiud organowych. Zawarte w niniejszej publikacji utwory mają za zadanie udoskonalić grę z użyciem pedałów. Autor podaje we wstępie jak powinna wyglądać postawa grającego, sposób ułożenia nóg na pedałach i rąk na klawiaturze itp. Etiudy zostały ułożone według stopnia trudności. The position of the body must be relaxed, straight and facing the center of the organ. The player must completely avoid resting the hands on the manuals or holding on to the organ console or the organ bench. The feet are to be used with such ease that the pedal stops are fully and firmly stuck, without in any way resting the body on them. The tips, rather than the heels, should be used, since this enables the feet to have more space for evasive action, especially when crossing above or below each other. If both feet alternate, the right foot is preferable used over the left one in the middle and lower range, when leading in the direction of the upper stops, so that in crossing the left foot is always below the right one. Max Glauser urodził się w 1937 roku w Thun. Początkowo uczył się gry na keyboardzie, a ostatecznie kształcił się w zakresie gry na organach w Konserwatorium w Brnie. Nauki kontynuował m. in. we Włoszech i Hiszpanii. W 1980 roku jego zainteresowania skierowały się ku muzyce jazzowej, co było inspiracją do komponowania. Stworzył serię utworów na organy solo i na organy z innymi instrumentami solowymi. Niniejsza publikacja zawiera Fantazję "Aus der Tiefe rufe ich" w opracowaniu na klarnet basowy i organy. Tempo: Moderato (ćwierćnuta = 60). Max Glauser was born in 1937 in Thun. He trained first as a schoolteacher, then as a keyboard music teacher at the Berne Conservatoire. He finally obtained an organ Soloist Diploma there. He continued his studies with various early music specialistists in Italy, Spain and elsewhere. In the 1980's he developed an interest in jazz, which gave him new inspiration for his teaching and composing. Over the years he has written a series of pieces for organ with one or two other solo instruments. They were all written for specific concerts, and were performed by the composer with wellknown soloists. He has also made many arrangements of Baroque music, some of which are published by Marc Reift Editions. Lista utworów: |

Dietrich Buxtehude (urodzony prawdopodobnie ok. 1637 roku) to duński lub niemiecki kompozytor i organista działający w XVII wieku, czyli w okresie baroku. Niewiele wiadomo o jego życiu. Znany jest m. in. fakt, że jego ojciec - Hans Buxtehude - również był organistą. Uważa się, że twórczość Dietricha Buxtehudego wywarła ogromny wpływ na styl kompozytorski Jana Sebastiana Bacha. Podstawę dzieł organowych Buxtehudego (licznych fug, fantazji, toccat, przygrywek), podobnie jak utworów Bacha, stanowi chorał protestancki. Ponadto tytuł oraz forma licznych "Preludiów i fug" Buxtehudego zostały zapożyczone przez Bacha. Prezentowana publikacja zawiera dwadzieścia cztery preludia chorałowe Buxtehudego m. in. oparte o melodię chorałów "Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland" oraz "Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ". Nad pięciolinią zamieszczono fragmenty tekstów chorałów w języku niemieckim. Buxtehude's Chorale Preludes for organ are less known and have so far been less valued than his Preludes and Fugues. This may be due partly to superficials causes, still more, however, they are marked by certain intrinsic qualities that have seemed to justify Spitta's sentence of their "inferior merit". These compositions are, in fact, less accessible at first hearing than the Chorale Preludes of Pachelbel and Wlather, their pre-eminence over the works of the numerous lesser masters of thath age is only now becoming apparent, through the countless new edition that have brought to light again in our time the German art of the "Organ Chorale" which flourished c. 1700.
