Mimo kilku wspaniałych płyt i wielu sukcesów komercyjnych, przez ponad 15 lat egzystowali w cieniu legendy ojca.Liderem tej grupy jest Ziggy, a właściwie David Marley. Urodził się w roku 1968. Był najstarszym dzieckiem Boba i Rity. Zainteresowanie muzyką przejawiał od dzieciństwa, a swoje przybrane imię zawdzięcza słynnemu hitowi Davida Bowiego, "Ziggy Stardust".
