"Saint Paul" to pierwsze oratorium Feliksa Mendelssohna (1809 - 1847). Kompozytor rozpoczął prace nad nim w Düsseldorfie, a ostatecznie ukończył w Lipsku w 1835 roku. Premierowe wykonanie oratorium miało miejsce na festiwalu w Düsseldorfie, 22 maja 1836 roku. Oratorium składa się z dwóch części, a jego tekst głosi o trzech głównych męczeństwach Świętego Pawła, jego nawróceniu i późniejszych dziejach. W wydaniu zamieszczono partyturę dzieła opracowanego na głosy solowe SATB, chór SATB i fortepian. We wstępie publikacji zamieszczono streszczenie treści oratorium w języku angielskim.
