Claude Debussy (1862 - 1918) to jeden z najs³ynniejszych francuskich kompozytorów. Jego muzyka charakteryzuje siê m. in. gêst± faktur±, ciekaw± kolorystyk± oraz znacznym wp³ywem muzyki orientalnych kultur (stosuje np. skale persk±). "Proses lyriques" to zbiór czterech pie¶ni Debussy'ego na g³os i fortepian. Utwory te powstawa³y w latach 1892 - 1893. Zosta³y skomponowane do s³ów poezji napisanej przez kompozytora. Teksty te wykorzystuj± d¼wiêkowe w³a¶ciwo¶ci s³ów w jêzyku francuskim i s± niezwykle spójne z melodyk± w partii g³osu oraz partii fortepianu. Do publikacji, na osobnych kartach, za³±czono teksty poezji Debussy'ego w jêzyku francuskim razem z ich t³umaczeniem w jêzyku niemieckim. Claude Debussy (1862 - 1918), one of the most significant composers in the modern world of music, mostly set texts by contemporary poets. His knownledge of the works of Baudleaire, Veraline, Malarmé and others show him to have been a "homme de lettres", who, right from the time of his stay in rome, cultivted the society of poets and painters. Debussy's songs show a deep affinity to French "poésie", which - when compared with the texts of other sons - possesses a high intrinsic aethetic value, typical of French lyric poetry in the second half of the 19th century. It was here that the human struggle towards a higher beauty was to find expression. Lista utworów: |
