Czwarta część szkoły fortepianowej Michaela Aarona to przede wszystkim utwory zarówno napisane przez autora kursu, jak i "klasyki" Bacha, Beethovena, Chopina czy Moszkowskiego. Przy utworach zamieszczone zostały uwagi wykonawcze. Na końcu książki zawarto słowniczek oznaczeń muzycznych i rodzaje akordów dominanty septymowej zapisanych melodycznie i harmonicznie.

Kurs gry na fortepianie oparty przede wszystkim na nauce utworów, a dodatkowo na etiudach poprawiających motorykę i na ćwiczeniach harmonicznych. Pomimo sugestywnego tytułu, z kursu tego może korzystać również młodzież, jednak ta może wymagać dodatkowego materiału stymulującego ich zainteresowanie grą.

Daniel Croner (1656 - 1740) był kompozytorem saksońskiego pochodzenia. Urodził się w Brashov i spędził tam większość swojego życia pełniąc stanowisko dygnitarza Kościoła i muzyka. Zmarł w Höltövény (Heldsdorf), blisko Brashov. Croner stworzył dwa tomy tabulatury organowej, które do dziś przechowywane są w miejskiej bibliotece w Brashov. Tom I został napisany w Pozsony (Preßburg, Bratislavia) w 1681 roku, natomiast tom II został stworzony w 1682 roku w Wittenberg. Niniejsze wydanie zawiera Tabulaturę Cronera z 1982 roku na klawikord (lub klawesyn lub fortepian). Książka została wydana w 1977 roku.
