Robert Schumann był niemieckim kompozytorem i pianistą okresu romantyzmu, żyjącym w latach 1810 - 1856. Zbiory ''Etiudy op. 3'' i ''Etiudy koncertowe op. 10'' dedykowane są Paganiniemu. Wcześniej Nicolo Paganini dedykował Schumannowi swoje ''24 Caprices, Op. 1'', Schumann w podzięce i jako wyraz głębokiego uszanowania skomponował etiudy op. 3 i etiudy koncertowe op. 10 na tematy Paganiniego. Etiudy wymagają od wykonawcy doskonałej techniki w grze na fortepianie. Paganini's ''24 Caprices, Op,1'', ''dedicated to artists,'' inspired Schumann troughout his life. He wrote the ''Studies,'' Op. 3 in the early summer of 1832-they were followed by the ''Six Concert Etudes'' Op. 10. (Both sets were for a time intended for the opus number 10, as will later be shown.) In his final, tragic years of life, he was still haunted by tge trought of having to complete a work that he had begun. He worked in Endenich in the piano accompaniments to all of the ''24 Caprices'' by Paganini, sking Brahms for the ''Caprici'' and for manuscript paper. Lista utworów: |
