Utwór współczesny Chrisa Kilvingtona (ur. w 1944 w Anglii) - kompozytora i gitarzysty. Kilvington odbył studia muzyczne w Cambridge. Prezentowany utwór przeznaczony jest w głównej mierze do udoskonalenia gry technicznej lewej ręki. There is a considerable amount of left hand fingering given here, partly because I think it will prove helpful in a piece containing much campanela, and partly to clearly indicate where the notes should be taken, albeit with some individual choices made by other players. Kompozycja - "Dream of Black Isle" składa się z trzech części: "Dream of Black Isle" was written for the Edinburgh guitarist Michael Mc Geary and premiered by him in April 1989 at the Inverness Easter Festival; it identifies strongly with a landscape painting by Jake Jackson who lives in the Scottish Highlands near Black Isle.
