Niniejsza publikacja zawiera Scherzo z Symfonii nr 5 op. 100, w transkrypcji fortepianowej Anatoli'ego Vedernikova (ur. 1920). Tempo: Allegro marcato (ćwierćnuta = 132).

Anatoly Vedernikov, who was born in Chinese city of harbin in 1920, began to play the piano at the age of six. His teachers were Vera Dilon and Leo Sirota. Four years later he gave his first full-length recital, and, from 1933 onwards, began to give concerts regularly, initially in China and Japan. He joined the master class of Heinrich Neuhaus at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow after his family had returned to the Soviet Union.
