"Studies at dusk" is a collection of seven short original pieces for two guitars which is intended for students who are approaching and establishing the intermediate level of playing. They are directed by two main concerns, that of rhythm and technique. Thus, each piece introduces a new note value and concentrates on asoects of technique which are basic (such as rest stroke and scales) or others that are normally reserved for more advanced pieces (such as harmonics, tambour and pizzicato).

W trzecim zeszycie Ucznia i nauczyciela szczególną uwagę zwrócono na problemy artykulacyjne. W wielu utworach (m.in.: Słoń, Wesoły wieśniak, Musette, Walc Griega) pojawiają się szczegółowe oznaczenia, np.: staccato, portato, a także różnego rodzaju akcenty. Nowym elementem jest również zastosowana w kilku utworach technika legato (Romans, Musette, Walc Griega). Podczas pracy nad tymi utworami warto zwrócić uwagę na problem wybrzmiewania dźwięku na gitarze.
