Antonio Soler (1729 - 1783) to hiszpański kompozytor - uczeń Domenico Scarlattiego. Prezentowana publikacja zawiera wybrane osiemnaście sonat fortepianowych Solera. We wstępie zamieszczono wskazówki wykonawcze w języku angielskim i niemieckim. Appoggiaturas (small notes) should be played on the beat according to 18th century custom. The difference between a long and short appoggiatura must be noted. Both should always be slurred to the main note. We added slurs from the appoggiatura to the main note, even when they are missing in the source, to emphasize their bond to the main note.
