Cykl piosenek i poematów dzieci Terezinstadt - obozu śmierci w Czechosłowacji. Terezin w 1938 stał się terenem okupowanym przez III Rzeszę. W 1941 został założony obóz koncentracyjny Theresienstadt, do którego trafiała przede wszystkim ludność żydowska z terenów niemieckich, czeskich, austriackich i holenderskich. Utwory zostały opracowane na głos wokalny i fortepian.
