In My Dreams

Mark Knopfler (ur. 12 sierpnia 1949 w Glasgow), szkocki gitarzysta, kompozytor i wokalista. Przed rozpoczęciem kariery muzycznej pracował także jako dziennikarz i wykładowca. Jest najbardziej znany jako lider zespołu Dire Straits, ale grał on także z innymi zespołami (przede wszystkim Notting Hillbillies) i artystami (między innymi Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan). Jest także kompozytorem muzyki filmowej do licznych filmów. Jest kawalerem Orderu Imperium Brytyjskiego.
