Domenico Gaetano Maria Donizetti (1797 1848) – wybitny włoski kompozytor I poł. XIX w. Kompozycje na klarnet solo - etiudy, to niezwykle rzadki gatunek w czasach Donizettiego. Utwór ten pochodzi z 1821 roku. Uważa się, że etiudy na klarnet Nicoló Paganiniego wydawane przez Giovani Ricordi rok wcześniej, służyły za wzór dla Donizettiego. Na potwierdzenie tych przypuszczeń składa się także fakt, iż etiudy Donizettiego przypominają charakterem kaprysy Paganiniego.

This series was compiled to correlate loosely with the Modern Course method and can be used to supplement any teaching method or situation.
