Dream Theater to amerykańska grupa muzyczna, której twórczość skupia się na gatunku metal progresywny. Zespół powstał w 1985, a jej założycielami są John Petrucci (gitara), John Myung (gitara basowa) i Mike Portnoy (perkusja).
