Composition finished at Vienna, February 10, 1785. Played in public for the first time, and by the composer himself, at Vienna, February 11, 1785. New, revised edition, 1888.

Concerto No. 20 In D minor For the Piano KV 466 (Mozart W. A.)

This Concerto was written in the autumn of 1782 at Vienna and first published by Artaria & Co. in 1785. Concerning this work and two others composed at about the same time (K. 413, 415), Mozart wrote to his father on December 28, 1782: "These concertos are a happy medium between what is too easy and too difficult; they are very brilliant, pleasing to the ear, and natural, without being vapid. There are passages here and there from which connoisseurs alone can derive satisfaction, but these passages are written in such a way that the less learned cannot fail to be pleased, although without knowing why".
All the cadenzas in the present edition are by Mozart.

Koncert fortepianowy c-moll (KV 491) Mozart skomponował w 1786 roku. Jest to utwór o typowej, klasycznej budowie: cz. I - Allegro, cz. II -Larghetto, cz. III - Allegretto. Niniejsze wydanie kompozycji w opracowaniu na dwa fortepiany zostało oparte wyłącznie o materiały źródłowe znajdujące się w British Library w Londynie. Partia solisty (Fortepian I) została wydana w możliwie najbliższym oryginałowi zapisie nutowym, z kolei w partii orkiestry zaaranżowanej na fortepian (Fortepian II) zachowano wszelkie źródłowe oznaczenia dynamiczne i artykulacyjne.
