Coelho Manuel Rodrigues Fünf Tentos (Ricercari)  Pięć Ricercari Fünf Tentos (Ricercari)
Zbiór pięciu Ricercar'ów duchownego ojca Manuela Rodriguesa Coelho (ur. ok. 1555, zm. 1635) - portugalskiego organisty i kompozytora barokowego. Do najpopularniejszych utworów z jego dorobku zaliczane są zawarte w niniejszej publikacji Tientos (hiszpańska nazwa Ricercar'ów), skomponowanych w stylu brillant. Utwory w obecnym wydaniu opracowane są na fortepian solo. The "Tentos" published in this volume form part of the work called "Flores de Musica para o instrumento de tecla e harpa" which was printed by Pedro Craesbeeck of Lisbon in 1620. They correspond with the numbers 5, 7, 18, 19 and 23 of the complete work. The first of the 24 tentos composed by Coelho has already been published in the volume entitled "Cravistas Portuguezes" (Ed. Schott No. 2382). All the tentos are written in the modes of the Church, so that No. 5 is written in th 2nd mode, No. 7 in the third, No. 18 in the sixth, No. 19 in the seventh and No. 23 in the eighth mode. They are closely related to the motet form and carry single themes through various parts but each one separately. The various themes of a tento by Coelho are, however, related to eac other.
