Piano lesson book one is written for the young beginner. In this book, we have attempted to teach note - reading and time - values, to give the basis of a sound technique and to encourage young pianists to express their musical ideas. There are twelve chapters and an appendix with further pieces and studies. The pupil will probably not complete a chapter in one lesson; the rate of progress will of course depend on the ability of the individual player.
