Vacchiano William Miniature Variations on The Carnival of Venice for Trumpet Solo Wariacje miniaturowe na temat karnawału w Wenecji na trąbkę solo Miniature Variations on The Carnival of Venice for Trumpet Solo
Wiliam Vacchiano (1912 - 2005) to słynny amerykański trębacz, muzyk New York Philharmonic oraz pedagog w Juliard School. Jego "Miniature Variations on The Carnival of Venice" na trąbkę solo to osiemdziesiąt pięć wariacji skomponowanych z myślą o doskonaleniu umiejętności technicznych uczniów trąbki. Zawarte są w nich różne problemy wykonawcze (m. in. frazowanie, gra w szybkim tempie, technika podwójnego ataku). Są to krótkie kompozycje o różnorodnym charakterze. Pośród tytułów odnaleźć można m. in. wariacje "Brisk, a la Beethoven", "Chorale", "Waltz", "Spain", "Dance", "Moving". Vacchiano - "Most variations on "The Carnival of Venice" were written by outstanding virtuosi such as Herbert Clarke in order to display their own great technique and range. I have kept these miniature variations within the scope of the average student, howether, and have included many facets of technique (such as tonguing, phrasing, etc.) which will help the player master the instrument and be of use as he or she embarks upon a career". Mr. Vacchiano was proncipal trumpeter with the New York Philharmonic from 1935 until 1973 and has been Professor of Trumpet at the Juliard School since 1936. Lista utworów: |
