Debussy Claude The Little Negro for Piano Mały murzynek na fortepian The Little Negro for Piano Le petit Negre pour piano
"The Little Negro" to miniatura fortepianowa napisana w 1909 roku przez francuskiego kompozytora - Claude'a Debussy'ego (1862 - 1918). Utwór ten artysta komponował z myślą o zbiorze Théodora Lacka - "Méthode élémentaire de Piano", do którego kompozycja "The Little Negro" miała być włączona. "The Little Negro" Debussy'ego cechują więc m. in. taneczne rytmy synkopowane, oraz pochody chromatyczne. "The Little Nigar" - Debussy's spelling - with the subtitle (Cake Walk) and the explanatory footnote "Le petit negre dite Danse su gâteau" was probably written in 1909 for inclusion in the "Méthode élémentaire de Piano" (Op. 269) by Théodore Lack, published that year. Its title page prudly states that it contains "40 petit morceaux faciles et inédits spécialement écrits pour cette méthode", underlining "par les plus grandes célébrités musicales". It consists only of the 54 bars, the last bar (54) reading the same as the last bar (87) of the present edition. Leuduc's publication of 1934, which the title "Le petit negre", repeats the bars from the last beat of bar 21 to the last beat of bar 53 and concludes with bar 54 of the 1909 text. Lista utworów: |
