"The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" to instrumentalny wstęp (sinfonia) do trzeciego aktu oratorium "Salomon" Georga Friedricha Haendla (1685 - 1759). Prezentowane wydanie jest aranżacją tej kompozycji na flet i fortepian. Ze względu na ciągły ruch szesnastkowy główna linia melodyczna została podzielona między flet oraz górny plan melodyczny w partii fortepianu (co umożliwia swobodne branie oddechu przez flecistę). Wszelkie, zamieszczone w niniejszym wydaniu oznaczenia artykulacyjne, dynamiczne oraz oznaczenia dotyczące tempa pochodzą od edytora.

"The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" is the Sinfonia that introduces Act III of the oratorio "Solomon" by George Frideric Handel (1685 - 1759). Throughout this arrangement principal melodic lines consisting of continuous sixteenth notes have been divided between the flute and the upper voice of the piano part, in order to allow the flutist space to breathe. In these instances dashed lines have been placed between the flute line and the top staff of the piano part in order to indicate the continuation of the melody. The editors added dynamic markings, slurs, articulations, and the metronome indication.
