The Mariachi Method Book transforms the traditional verbal teaching of this time-honored genre into a written text. This book is especially designed to teach the beginning player the fundamentals of Mariachi guitar. It contains lessons that introduce the primary chords, followed by easy exercises, new rhythm patterns and great songs to put your new Mariachi knowledge to use. The two accompanying CDs provide a teaching soundtrack to guide you through the exercises, rhythms and songs.

This book stands alone or integrates with any method. For all ages, in private or group study, its graphics put chord shapes of triads, seventh chords, inversions and chord progressions securely into the hands. Summary charts and keyboard maps speed up learning and review. Notation and graphics give standard arpeggio fingerings for major and minor triads and all seventh chords. A section on other keyboard patterns in repertoire, such as chords divided between the hands, may be used as 5-minute units at lessons.

This book is to be used in conjunction with Moppets' Rhythms and Rhymes, teacher's Book.
Moppels' Rhythms and Rhymes is a collection of game songs set to strongly rhythmical verses (some Mother Groose) for children from four through seven. While this may seem like a wide age span, Rhythms and Rhymes Teacher's Book explains how the various activities can be used to suit several levels of development.
Rhythms and Rhymes focuses on strengthening the children's innate sense of rhythm and their understanding of melodic direction through body movements, the use of the piano keyboard, rhythm instruments and rhythmical poems and games. It should be used with groups of at least four.
Although the book is planned specifically as a part of the Music for Moppets pre-piano course to be given in the teacher's own music studio, it can also be used very effectively in nursery school, kindergarten, and first grade.
On completion of the Music for Moppets course, the children should be well prepared to continue in a more formalized study for piano, or any other instrument.
