Album für die Jugend op. 68 / Kinderszenen op. 15 -für Klavier-

Zbiór opracowań chorałów osiemnastowiecznego niemieckiego kompozytora i organisty - Johanna Ludwiga Krebsa. Krebs uważany był za ulubionego ucznia Jana Sebastiana Bacha. Już sam tytuł kompozycji - "Klavierübung" odzwierciedla ogromny wpływ jaki wywarł na Krebsie właśnie Bach (autor wielu zbiorów zatytułowanych w ten sposób). Wpływ mistrza ujawnia się również w doborze chorałów protestanckich - wiele z tych wybranych przez Krebsa opracowywał również Bach (m. in. "Christ lag in Todesbanden", "Erbarm dich mein, o Herre Gott").

Kolekcja utworów fortepianowych wybitnego amerykańskiego pianisty i kompozytora - Normana Dello Joio (ur. 1913). W drugiej połowie lat czterdziestych Joio został uznany za jednego z czołowych kompozytorów Ameryki Północnej, a w latach pięćdziesiątych uzyskał międzynarodowe uznanie. Otrzymał liczne nagrody, m. in. Nagrodę Pulitzera oraz Emmy Award. Wśród utworów zawartych w niniejszej publikacji znajdziesz m. in. "Wariacje koncertowe", "Preludium dla młodego muzyka" i "Preludium dla młodego tancerza". Utwory przeznaczone są dla zaawansowanych pianistów,, wymagają dobrego przygotowania technicznego.

Publikacja zawiera Suitę fortepianową dla młodzieży wybitnego amerykańskiego pianisty i kompozytora - Normana Dello Joio (ur. 1913). Utwór składa się z dziesięciu następujących części: I - Mountain Melody, II - Invention, III - Little Sister, IV - Little Brother, V - Lullaby, VI - Echoes, VII - Bagatelle, VIII - A Sad Tale, IX - Small Fry, X - Chorale Chant (część z tekstem). Suita przeznaczona jest dla pianistów średniozaawansowanych.

This first volume in the Classical Piano Solos series features 20 original pieces from the masters, suitable for pianists at a Grade 1 standard. This series was compiled to correlate loosely with the Modern Course method and can be used to supplement any teaching method or situation. This volume features a mix of well-known pieces, including several from Bartok's method (co-authored in 1913 with Reschofsky) and BurgmA1ller's â€o Arabesque ,â€? as well as lesser-known gems by composers like Melanie Bonis, Vincent d'Indy and Daniel Turk.
