Pierwszy zeszyt prezentowanej serii publikacji - "Die Soloflöte" gromadzi w sobie wybrane utwory różnych kompozytorów okresu baroku. Wśród kompozycji można odnaleźć utwory takich kompozytorów, jak m. in.: Jean Daniel Braun, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Joachim Quanz oraz Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. W większości są to typowo barokowe kompozycje o stałej motoryce, jak np. "Fantasia in C" Quanza, czy "Partita in a" Jana Sebastiana Bacha.

The transverse flute is among the most ancient of musical instruments, being indeed almost as lod as humanity itself. During its long history it has always united the power of the archetypical with the magic of its many forms and guises. Althought since time immemotrial the human voice has been considered the vehicle par exellence in the hierarchy of music's expressive devices, there ist abundant evidence and historical documentation that place the transverse flute, far more than other instruments, on a par with the voice as regards timbre and expressivity. Alongside familiar works, each volume also contains relatively unknown compositions, including pieces which appear here for the first time in modern edition.
