Pierwszy zeszyt prezentowanej serii publikacji - "Die Soloflöte" gromadzi w sobie wybrane utwory różnych kompozytorów okresu baroku. Wśród kompozycji można odnaleźć utwory takich kompozytorów, jak m. in.: Jean Daniel Braun, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Joachim Quanz oraz Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. W większości są to typowo barokowe kompozycje o stałej motoryce, jak np. "Fantasia in C" Quanza, czy "Partita in a" Jana Sebastiana Bacha. The transverse flute is among the most ancient of musical instruments, being indeed almost as lod as humanity itself. During its long history it has always united the power of the archetypical with the magic of its many forms and guises. Althought since time immemotrial the human voice has been considered the vehicle par exellence in the hierarchy of music's expressive devices, there ist abundant evidence and historical documentation that place the transverse flute, far more than other instruments, on a par with the voice as regards timbre and expressivity. Alongside familiar works, each volume also contains relatively unknown compositions, including pieces which appear here for the first time in modern edition. Lista utworów: |

Druga część "Repertuaru na flet poprzeczny" Jana Sebastiana Bacha, zawierająca wszystkie fletowe partie kantat i oratoriów. Zapis obejmuje dodatkowe sugestie dotyczące wykonania poszczególnych fragmentów, co znacznie ułatwia zrozumienie zapisu i poprawne odtwarzanie zawartych w książce dzieł. Część utworów przeznaczona jest na flet poprzeczny solo, a część na duet fletów poprzecznych. This collection of flute parts taken from J. S Bach's cantatas and oratorios will provide the flutist with adequate material for study and practical purposes, access to which has hitherto been difficult. The selected material covers four volumes, three intended for transverse flute and one for recorder. In odd cases a note will be found appended to passages the instrumentation of which is subject to dispute. Reconstructions of doubtful sources as well as works erroneously ascribed to J. S. Bach have not been included in the collection. A large number of pieces, above all obbligato aria parts, are reproduced in their unabridged form and distinguished by the sign O. Other passages appear in the nature of excerpts which are suitable for gaining an insight into the musical character of the passage in question, or for use as material to prepare sections likely to present technical difficulty.
